2008 Lane Automotive/Edelbrock Information

The 2008 season  points series is offered to our Super Pro, Pro and Street racers. The points series will run from April 26th through September 1st.  The top point finishers will also be eligible to compete in the Mid Michigan Motorplex All Star team at the NHRA Division Three Bracket Finals at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis September 12-14, 2008. All point funds will be distributed at the annual Banquet January 24 2009. It is important to understand that you must sign up for the 2008 points series to receive points. The cost to participate in the 2008 point series will be $20.  All point payouts & points race days are shown below.

Points:

20 points for entering an event

10 points for every round won (excluding Buybacks)

2 point bonus for overall winner

1 point bonus for runner up

NEW FOR 2008 You will be allowed to waive 2 points days.                   You will need to let us know in the office before leaving the track                to waive that day. Any missed day will count as a waiver. If you do not use  any waivers during the season the final two points days will be waived.
